Homecoming

Watch below pictures from Tita Bing and Kuya Toto's homecoming. They went home to see Papalolo. This is also the first time they will see me, Ate Trish and Mommy. It may be a sad homecoming but I hope I did make it memorable for them. I hope daddy can come home soon too

ZipLine

I come across these pictures today and it brought back good memories. If I am not mistaken these were taken during my birthday in 2009 (a gift from my wife). I had a blast taking the zipline. This was in Lignon Hill in Legaspi City. It rises at 160 meters from the ground and around 100 meters long. The zipline is back and forth and it costs Php 200 (back then) with the view of the Mayon Volcano. I promised myself that I will do this again and I will let go of my hands next time and fly :-)  Maybe this April on my next vacation.

Spidee

Noah likes Spiderman. He likes to watch Spiderman movies (not cartoons). He mimics Spiderman's web release and he even likes to climb window like Spiderman. Below was one of his adventures. Papalolo was still healthier that time. Noah loves playing with Papalolo. He fondly call his lolo Pangpang. Get Well Soon Pangpang - NOAH

The Tree of Life

The Tree of Life in Bahrain is one of the mysteries of world which should be in your sightseeing list while in this Asian country. The Tree of Life in Bahrain is 400 old mesquite tree which lives in the middle of desert. The mystery of the survival of the tree has made it a legend. People from all over the Middle East and the world want to visit this spot to see this magic of nature. The name “tree of life” is absolutely fit for the tree as it truly symbolizes the magic of life. A legend is also attached to the place where the tree is located. The local inhabitants believe with heart and soul that this was the actual location of the Garden of Eden.

The Tree of Life or Sharajat-al-Hayat, as the Arabs call it, is located 1.2 miles or 2 kilometers away from Jebel Dukhan. The tree stands lonely in the heart of desert and from far away it looks like a green spot in the white desert.

This large tree (the size of a big banyan tree in India), with its solid trunk, stout branches and luxuriant green leaves is a mystery to one andall, stands majestically. It stands on top of a 25-foot-high sandy hill. The tree has continued growing-despite the extremities of the climate. At present it is 32 feet in height. It is fascinating to see something grow in such heavy conditions - loneliness, heat, drought, dust storms and grazing animals. The average temperatures are probably about 110 or so and the hot winds blow heavily.

The tree’s source of water is mystery. Plant scientist may say that its roots go very deep and wide to get water from the reserves of sweet springs kilometers away. The Bedouins believe that Enki, the mythical God of water, had showered its blessing... and greenery on the Tree. This tree is Nature’s gift to Bahrain.According to one theory of some scientists who have studied the rings on the trunk of "Tree" (a tough, ancient acacia), they say it is over 1500 years old. Almost declaring it as the best preserved heritage of the 5000 years old land of "Dilmun" (meaning noble) which was ancient name of Bahrain.

Since I am here in Al-Khobar which is near Bahrain and in one of our project site visit in Bahrain, I was able to visit this famous tree. Check out a couple of pictures taken last November 2011

Prayer for Papa

Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that you have risen from the dead for our sake. You are the bread of heaven, the resurrection and the life. Lord, you healed the sick and raised the dead. Lord, I ask you to have compassion on my father and reach him through your holy spirit. Restore him and heal him from every suffering of his body, heart and soul in Jesus name. Amen.

Kung Hei Fat Choi

2012 is the Year of the Dragon. I am born in 1972 which is Year of the Rat while my wife was born 1979 which is Year of the Sheep. This year:

The diligent Rat will be rewarded.

For the past couple of years, Rat persons have been navigating stormy weather. You have been encountering work, health, and relationship challenges around every corner. Fortunately, in 2012 a silver lining in the clouds reveals sunshine coming your way. This is especially true if you are in contact with a teacher, exam-giver, boss, interviewer, or benefactor who is born in the year of the Monkey. These people will reward your hard work and perseverance. The other positive zodiac sign for you is the Ox. Collaborating or spending time with an Ox person in northern regions can be beneficial - especially during the winter months. Usually, the Dragon is a compatible sign for Rat persons, however, do not expect too much from them during their year of challenge. Most importantly, Rat persons do well to avoid the Horse, Sheep, and Rooster, who tend to gossip and bring them down. Keep your distance from southern regions.

For a brand new start in 2012, Rat persons can enhance their happiness and reputation by placing the Chi Art, "5 Dimenions of Wealth and Luck" in their bedrooms. On a personal level, having a high master meditate on you or with you can improve your energies even more. Use the colors of gold and white for smoother sailing. Wearing quartz, pearl, citrine, and gold in custom-designed jewelry such as bracelets, necklaces, and earrings wealth and abundance for Rat persons.

The balanced Sheep enjoys peace of mind.

The Moon is shining for the Sheep in 2012. Falling in love, being moonstruck, and feeling romantic are part of the year's offerings of fantastical experiences - perhaps even marriage. The Moon also grants fortune, a promotion at work, or an upswing in business for Sheep. However, it is important to keep yourself balanced and not be consumed by the passions of a new love or over-confidence at work.

If you are consumed with love, it can become a distracting emotional roller coaster ride that blurs your judgment. The resulting lack of attention can lead to making poor decisions and embarrassing mistakes. Be careful to avoid errors or disputes that could lead to money loss, legal infractions, complaints, or finger-pointing.

Sheep persons tend to indulge in good food. This year, be aware that too much of a good thing can bring imbalance causing diarrhea or constipation. Learning moderation to control your hedonistic tendencies will keep you content.

To protect the Sheep from such struggles and jealousy, have a master prepare a personalized set of mantra charms to adjust this energy. If you are a Sheep, try to lessen your associations with persons born in the year of the Dog, Dragon, and Ox. Placing the Chi Art "Sacred Bamboo Forest" in your family entertainment room will remind you that appreciation of the simple things in life is the secret to attaining life's greatest treasure of all - peace of mind. Sheep persons benefit to travel east with Pig and Rabbit persons. The best colors for the Sheep are aquamarine and teal. Wearing jade and turquoise bracelets, necklaces, and earrings keeps Sheep persons balanced.

Gift for my Family

I recorded a couple of songs (actually I got overwhelm and made 25 songs) and put it in the CD. By this time they maybe listening to it and are laughing out loud. At least alam na nila na frustrated singer si Daddy :-). And everytime they miss me they can just play the CD and listen to me.

I even went far by creating a CD cover. Take a look below. If you also want to listen you could check the Song Trip page above.

I also recorded The Holy Rosary (with me reciting it) so they can also play it that way I can also be with them while they are praying the Holy Rosary. God Bless our Family.

WE LOVE YOU PAPA

I tried to hold my tears when I think about Papa’s condition. But I can’t. I cried yesterday after knowing that Papa is very weak and having a hard time breathing. I am crying while I am writing this.

Hindi ako sanay na makita siyang mahina. Ayokong isipin na iiwan na niya kami.

I am still hoping na bigyan pa siya ng ilang taon pa. He will be turning 70 this coming April 27.

Minsan naiisip ko what it would be like kung wala na siya. He is always been with us. Mama and Papa is always with us. Kahit malayo ako, I know when I go back to the Philippines, nandun silang dalawa, magkasama. Di ako sanay na wala ang isa sa kanila.

God please make my father get better. Take care of my mother as well. Please keep both of them healthy.Noah and Trisha would surely love to spend more time with them. Kayo na po ang bahala.

Trisha's First CCP Ballet Recital

My Ballerina Girl had her first Ballet Recital last December 9, 2011. Unfortunately I was not able to attend but Mommy and Noah were there to support her. Tita Ruth, Ate Tina and others were also there. Next time Daddy hopefully will be there. We are still waiting for more picture and details of the show. In the meantime take a peek at how pretty our little ballerina on her Little Red Riding Hood costume.
